Did Terrorists and A British Journalist Attack the US Dollar?

Reports say Robert Fisk, a British Journalist who has interviewed Osama Bin aden three times, launched a report early this week that a secret Russian, Chinese, French, Arab plan to dump the dollar and use gold to buy oil.. Drudge posted the report on his website and speculators dumped dollars and bought gold.

Russia, China, France and Arab countries denied the report. But the dollar fell and gold rose in value.

Finally Asian nations, some of them just a few years ago didn’t have much money, came to defend the dollar. The Bank of Thailand, The Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia bought hundreds of millions of dollars and stopped the devaluation of the greenback.

Thanks to these Asian nations the attack against the dollar was thwarted….but who did it? And why? And did they benefit by buying or selling gold during the dollar free fall?

Should the FBI get involved?
Now there is a report that the US government asked the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to buy dollars because of the attack. I just heard it on CNBC. No link yet.

That is a good question…where were US banks? Why were the Asian banks asked to stop the attack on the dollar?

The real question that should be asked is why the american banks didn’t jump to the rescue of the dollar.

Simple answer…no profit in them…and they are all greedy scumbags.
